With the end of the year just around the corner, we’re ready to stash all the Christmas decor and start 2018 with a fresh, clean slate. Try these home decor tips for the new year, and welcome 2018 from a beautiful place.
Clutter Begone
One of the least expensive ways to freshen things up is by banishing the clutter. Box up the Christmas decorations and recycle all those holiday cards, then take a good look around. Bookshelves, drawers, cupboards, entry tables and counter space can all become dumping grounds for clutter, so make time to go room by room and clear it all away. If you can’t find a home for it, consider donating, recycling or tossing.
For those useful but not-so-pretty essentials (shoes, remotes, keys, etc.), shop for stylish storage options like baskets and trunks, or bigger furniture pieces with ample concealed space.
